Not only polar krypton 001, Intel's Mobileye expands cooperation with Geely: plans to add three new brands
CTOnews.com, September 26 (Xinhua)-- Intel's Mobileye and Geely Holdings announced today that they will further expand their cooperation in advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) and self-driving car technology.
Previously, the polar krypton 001 electric vehicle with Mobileye SuperVision has been successfully put on the market. In the future, through OTA upgrade, polar krypton 001 users can unlock all the functions of SuperVision.
CTOnews.com learned that based on the successful partnership between Mobileye and Polar Krypton, three other Geely brands plan to launch electric models with Mobileye SuperVision around the world in 2023.
In addition, polar krypton will be equipped with Mobileye SuperVision in two new models and will work with Mobileye to develop new features based on lidar.
Mobileye said that polar krypton 001 car owners have now benefited from the highway driving assistance provided by SuperVision with additional special safety applications. This set can be continuously updated, and the system based on look vision is expected to be fully released through OTA updates by the end of this year.
