Apple Apple Watch Ultra is disassembled in detail: stronger waterproof and bigger battery

CTOnews.com Sept. 27, iFixit today shared a video of Apple Watch Ultra dismantling, giving us a better understanding of the internal design and components of the watch.

During the disassembly process, iFixit found that although there were four exposed pentagonal screws on the rear shell of the Apple Watch Ultra, which could quickly open and enter the interior of the watch, iFixit said that the maintenance of the equipment was still challenging, such as the destruction of the waterproof gasket used for Apple Watch Ultra when the rear shell was removed. In addition, to get access to components such as batteries and Taptic Engine, you need to remove the display screen, which is difficult.

In addition, the disassembly confirmed that the Apple Watch Ultra was equipped with a 542mA battery, which was 76 per cent larger than the 308mA battery of Apple Watch Series 8. In addition, the Apple Watch Ultra is equipped with significantly larger speakers that can provide a higher volume during a call.

Interestingly, iFixit also counted how many screws Apple Watch Ultra used, a total of 32.
