Apple iPad mini 6 launches a new policy: only replace the battery, no need to replace the whole machine

Apple is introducing a new policy for iPad mini 6 that allows customers to replace batteries without changing their devices.

Previously, if iPad customers wanted to replace batteries, Apple Store retail stores, Apple authorized service providers, and repair centers would provide replacement equipment for those customers, rather than simply replacing the batteries in the original iPad. From now on, for Apple authorized service centers, iPad mini 6 customers will be able to replace only the batteries without the need to replace the whole machine if they meet the requirements.

CTOnews.com has learned that Apple's new policy applies only to iPad mini 6, but other iPad is likely to follow in the coming weeks and months. Depending on individual circumstances, the new policy may be disadvantageous to some customers. In the past, customers were given completely new replacement equipment, so any dents, cracks or wear and tear were dealt with.

Apple's new policy means that iPad mini 6 users only need to replace the battery and not fix any other minor defects or damage to the device. So far, this new policy has been implemented only in global maintenance centers, not in Apple Store retail stores or authorized service providers.
