CTOnews.com September 28 news, learned from BYD that BYD recently announced a partnership with Jordanian car dealer group Bustami & Saheb Trading Company (referred to as BSTC) to jointly provide new energy vehicle products for the Jordanian market.
Data show that BYD New Energy vehicles currently have a footprint in more than 70 countries and regions and more than 400 cities around the world. In the first half of 2022, BYD New Energy vehicle sales exceeded 640000 units, an increase of more than 300 percent over the same period last year, and has served more than 2.4 million owners.
CTOnews.com learned that BYD said it would join hands with MSTC to launch a number of new energy vehicles in Jordan.
According to Rami Al-Saheb, chairman of BSTC, Jordan has high fuel costs and currently ranks fourth in the world, with huge local demand for new energy vehicles. The government has also issued relevant favorable laws and regulations to promote the rapid development of new energy vehicles in the local automobile market.
