CTOnews.com Sept. 29, AMD has now launched the Ruilong 7000 processor code-named "Raphael", which is based on Zen4 architecture and has a maximum of 16 cores. Next, AMD will introduce the Threadripper PRO 7000 series of workstation processors, also based on the Zen4 architecture, with a larger number of cores.

According to Tom's Hardware, the Threadripper PRO 7000 series processor is code-named "Storm Peak". A 64-core engineering sample is being tested with the identification code "AuthenticAMD AMD Eng Sample: 100-000000454-20 Stepping Y [Family 25 Model 24 Stepping 1]". No more performance data are available.

CTOnews.com learned that the AMD Threadripper PRO 5000WX series of processors was launched for the OEM in March and for the DIY market in August at the following price:

5965WX:24 core 48 threads, 3.8-4.5 GHz $2,399 (about 16241.23 yuan)

5975WX:32 core 64 threads, 3.6-4.5 GHz, $3,299 (about 22334.23 yuan)

5995WX:64 core 128 threads, 2.7-4.5 GHz, $6499 (about 43998.23 yuan)

AMD has announced that it has unified Threadripper and Threadripper PRO product lines for enthusiasts and content creators, and there will be only Threadripper PRO platforms in the future. The Threadripper PRO 7000 series processor based on Zen 4 is expected to be launched in the first half of 2023.
