CTOnews.com, September 29-Apple's Apple Watch Ultra has by far the largest display on the Apple Watch, but uses the same display technology as previous models. There was also a "jelly screen" problem on iPad mini 6 a year ago. Despite complaints from users, Apple issued a statement calling the scrolling effect "normal behavior". This includes displays used in iPad mini 6, iPad Air 5, and Apple Watch.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple had previously responded that this was normal behavior on LCD screens. Because these screens refresh line by line, this causes a delay problem between the row at the top of the screen and the row at the bottom of the screen, which leads to the "jelly scrolling" effect.

On Apple Watch Ultra, "Jelly Scroll" can be seen in a situation similar to iPad mini 6. For example, iPhoneSoft shows the screen shake effect that occurs when they scroll through the list with a digital crown.

There are also some scattered complaints about the Apple Watch Ultra "jelly screen" on Reddit, but so far, the number of complaints has been relatively small-especially compared to last year's iPad mini 6.

Why is the "jelly screen" on Apple Watch Ultra more effective than other Apple Watch models? 9to5 Mac says this may boil down to the fact that the Apple Watch Ultra display is larger and brighter than other Apple Watch models. All this makes the "jelly screen" more effective than the standard Apple Watch model.

Apple has yet to respond to the Apple Watch Ultra "jelly screen" issue. It is important to note that Apple Watch Ultra uses OLED screens, while iPad mini 6 uses LCD screens.
