Meta Quest 3 VR head display details and design exposure
CTOnews.com September 30 news, previously revealed that the Meta Quest Pro high-end VR head show will be released, the existing intelligence reveals more details of next year's Meta Quest 3 VR.
YouTuber @ Brad Lynch previously revealed key details about Meta Quest Pro, and now he has brought some details of the Meta Quest 3 VR header.
It is said to be a more expensive and powerful wireless VR head display, cheaper than Pro, and entry-level in terms of functionality. But that doesn't mean it's the same as Meta Quest 2. The biggest change is a kind of lens called pancake lenses.
The lens is thinner and lighter, so it is more suitable for long-term games and may reduce the overall weight of the head display.
Unlike the Pico 4 VR, the battery still appears to be in the shutter, so it may still be a little heavy. Unlike the previous generation of Meta Quest, the IPD slider is expected to return in Meta Quest 3, which will bring players a more comfortable experience.
It is said that the head display will use the unreleased Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, which may be more power-efficient than the previous generation of Meta Quest.
However, unlike Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 3 does not have any form of facial or eye tracking function, so there is a large experience gap between Meta Quest 3 and Pro.
CTOnews.com has reported that a game anchor posted the upcoming Meta Quest Pro on Facebook. The box of the device is printed with the name of Meta Quest Pro and reads "not for resale-Engineering sample". There are three cameras on the front of the VR.
Meta will hold its annual VR conference Connect on October 11, and we can look forward to the release of this Meta Quest Pro high-end VR headset.
