AMD new generation Radeon RX / Pro graphics card exposed, at least 8 models
CTOnews.com news on October 2, whistleblower @ _ Rogame revealed a series of PCI-ID for the new generation of AMD RDNA 3 GPU based on the Navi 3x series.
According to Rogame, the new AMD graphics cards come in at least eight different models, all based on the next-generation RDNA 3 GPU architecture and are expected to be launched on November 3.
It is worth mentioning that these GPU ID are not aimed at a specific graphics card, but also seem to include mobile platforms and Pro series of professional card products. The current Navi 3x lineup includes:
NAVI 31: 0x7440-> 0x745F
NAVI 32: 0x7460-> 0x747F
NAVI 33: 0x7480-> 0x749F
The AMD Navi 33 GPU lineup alone includes six SKU, and its PCI ID is:
0x7480
0x7481
0x7483
0x748B
0x7489
0x749F
According to Rogame, the game card on the desktop platform is usually the last ID of the series, so the above part may appear in the lineup of Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards.
Foreign media speculate that entry-level SKU such as Navi 33 contains six or more PCI ID, but the high-end product line may be kept to a minimum. But to take a step back, even if each GPU can be divided into six PCI ID, there will be 18 products for different markets, including Radeon Desktop, Radeon Mobile, Radeon Pro Desktop, Radeon Pro Mobile and so on.
CTOnews.com has reported that AMD has confirmed that its RDNA 3 GPU will be launched in November, with a significant improvement in performance.
David Wang, senior vice president of AMD Radeon Technologies Group engineering, said that compared to the existing RDNA 2 GPU, the next-generation GPU of the Radeon RX 7000 series will provide more than 50% improvement in performance and power consumption. In addition, some of the key features of RDNA 3 GPU highlighted by AMD include:
5nm process
Advanced small chip packaging
Redesigned computing unit
Optimized graphics pipeline (Pipeline)
Next Generation Infinite Cache (AMD Infinity Cache)
Enhanced RayTracing capability
Fine adaptive power management
More than 50% improvement in performance and power consumption
