"Ares" PC transplant maker says it is working with Sony to develop a new 3A long-term support game
CTOnews.com, Oct. 2 (Xinhua)-- Jetpack Interactive, the transplant maker of Ares PC, announced that it is working with Sony to develop a 3A-level Live Service game, which will provide long-term content updates after release.
Jetpack Interactive said on LinkedIn that it is pleased to launch a new Live Service game with Sony and recruit experienced game developers.
CTOnews.com learned that Sony revealed in an earnings call in February that it plans to launch at least 10 Live Service games by March 2026, one of which appears to be in partnership with Jetpack Interactive.
Jetpack Interactive also said on LinkedIn that they will continue to work with Sony on the "God of War" series, and it seems that "God of War: the Gods of Twilight" will be available on PC.
Sony PlayStation platform masterpiece "God of War" launched on the PC platform in January this year, and then achieved success in terms of sales and word-of-mouth, winning the Steam sales list for the third time in a row. Steam's reputation is also "rave".
At present, major game publishers such as Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft are already involved in Live Service games, covering racing games, adventure games and shooter games.
