Mass production of the virtual reality helmet began in September and has yet to face supply chain constraints. When released early next year, production figures may be adjusted according to the sales momentum of the equipment.

In the years when commercial products from companies such as HTC and Oculus (now part of Meta) were widely launched, VR glasses were still in the process of verification. Sony has not given an official price or a specific release date for the PS VR2.
