As its name implies, it is an updated version of last year's vivo Y52, similar to last year's model, which also uses MediaTek's Tienji 700 chip, an eight-core processor and an integrated Mali G52 GPU.

The vivo Y52 (2022) has a larger display, a 4800-megapixel camera, and a 5000mAh battery. Other highlights of the vivo Y52 (2022) include an 8-megapixel selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint recognition, and 18W fast charging.

The vivo Y52 (2022) is available in a single configuration, namely 4GB+128GB, and the price is NT $7990 (about RMB 1798).

CTOnews.com learned that the new vivo Y52 (2022) features a 6.58in IPS LCD droplet grooved display with Full HD + resolution. The phone uses a FunTouch OS 12 system based on Android 12.

The new vivo Y52 (2022) has three rear cameras, including a 4800 megapixel main camera, a 2 megapixel depth of field camera, and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The front camera has an 8 megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

The vivo Y52 (2022) uses a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through the Type-C port. In terms of security, the smartphone provides side fingerprint identification and has a hybrid micro-SD card slot.

The new Y52 (2022) comes in two colors-Night Black and Glacier Blue. The weight is 193g and the size of the fuselage is 163.95 × 75.30mm. Connection options for the device include dual SIM cards, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou.
