Panel-driven IC manufacturer: the period of rapid and sharp decline in performance has passed

Affected by customers'de-inventory, the panel-driven IC factory's revenue fell sharply in June, and Lianyong's August revenue fell to 6.527 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 1.469 billion yuan), down 49.5% from the September high last year.

In addition, Ruiding earned 1.326 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 298 million yuan) in August, down 50.95 percent from its April high, while Tianyu collected 1.434 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 323 million yuan) in August, down 37.38 percent from its September high last year.

Taiwan media pointed out that the legal person expects that Lianyong's operating target for the third quarter is expected to be successfully achieved, with quarterly revenue of about 19.1 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 4.298 billion yuan) to 20.3 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 4.567 billion yuan), a decrease of 35 to 39 percent from the previous month.

Lianyong said that at present, market demand is weak, including poor market conditions for mobile phones, computers and televisions, and customers continue to eliminate inventories. although demand shows no significant signs of recovery, it has not deteriorated significantly further. Tianyu also pointed out that customers continue to eliminate inventory, demand is still waiting and see, however, the most drastic stage of performance correction has passed, and it is expected that the operation will gradually bottom out and stabilize.
