According to CTOnews.com on October 3, 2022 Nobel Prizes were announced one after another from October 3 to October 10. This afternoon, the first Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was officially announced. The winner is the Swedish scientist Svante P ä bo (Swanter Pabo).

The Nobel Foundation said: "Svante P ä bo is awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of the extinct human genome and human evolution."

CTOnews.com learned that the Nobel Foundation also decided to invite 2022 Nobel laureates to participate in the Nobel Prize Awards week in Stockholm, Sweden, along with those in 2020 and 2021.
