CTOnews.com reported on October 4 that India announced the official launch of 5G service at the India Mobile Conference on October 1, and will provide nearly 75% of the population by the end of the year. The first phase covers 13 cities and will be promoted nationwide by the end of 2023.

India's first ambulance to support 5G mobile services was displayed at the conference, CCTV News reported. This is not only an ambulance, but also a mobile intensive care unit.

CTOnews.com learned that all devices in the ICU, including cameras, ECG machines and ventilators, can operate on the car with the help of a 5G network.

Through the car camera, everything that happens in the car can also be sent back to the hospital at high speed through the 5G mobile service. Remote doctors can give timely treatment to patients with the help of cameras.

In addition, the Indian prime minister also used 5G to remotely drive a car in Sweden by manipulating the steering wheel of the venue in New Delhi at the launching ceremony.

According to previous information, India's Badi Telecom (Airtel) said it would first launch 5G services in eight cities from October 1. Jio, an Indian telecom company, has pledged to provide 5G services to India by December 2023. Vodafone Creative has not confirmed the launch date of its 5G plan.
