CTOnews.com, October 4 (Xinhua)-- LG achieved good results at the CEDIA 2022 Home Technology Fair in Dallas last week, even winning one of the conference's best display awards for its high-end, almost enterprise-class CineBeam HU915QB projector. Not only that, LG also showed off its MAGNIT 4K 136inch luxury TV, which combines AI enhanced processing, smart TV platform and Micro LED technology, promising a "home theater, digital art and entertainment experience".

The 136inch LG Magnit made its debut at CEDIA 2022 and has caused quite a stir in the world of home theater enthusiasts. It is not clear what the price of the LG Magnit is, and it will certainly not be too cheap.

CTOnews.com learned that MicroLED has both the high brightness of QLED, the color saturation of OLED and the ability to display pure black. According to data provided by LG, the peak brightness of the Magnit can reach about 2000 nits and supports the native 120Hz refresh rate. There are four HDMI input ports, digital audio output, two USB input ports and one RS232C port on the back.

Internally, Magnit uses LG's Alpha A9 artificial intelligence processor to reduce picture noise when the image quality is enhanced. The screen also has a built-in dynamic HDR light sensor that can increase brightness and contrast when it detects a large amount of ambient light in the room. Magnit also supports AirPlay 2 and Miracast, which can be launched on the phone.

On the sound side, LG, in cooperation with Bang & Olufsen, bundles the Beolab 90 home stereo with 18 drive units: 7 treble drive units, 7 alto drive units and 4 bass drive units, which can output sound in all directions. Normally, the price of a stereo is about $85000 per pair, so this home theater costs at least hundreds of thousands of dollars.
