CTOnews.com, Oct. 5-Sony's supply chain problems are slowly recovering, and Sony Japan has now announced the resumption of production of the A6600 and ECM-B1M microphones.

CTOnews.com learned that Sony stopped producing a number of APS-C cameras last year due to delays in parts procurement due to a global shortage of semiconductor chips, leading to a sharp increase in the price of related camera products. Now, as problems in the supply chain ease, Sony's camera prices are basically back to normal.

The Sony Weibo A6600 was released in 2019 with an initial price of 10599 yuan (fuselage). JD.com currently sells for 8699 yuan. In terms of parameters, the A6600 uses a 24.2 million-pixel APS-C frame Exmor CMOS image sensor and Bionz X image processor, supporting 425 points (phase detection autofocus) / 425 points (contrast detection autofocus) and a built-in 5-axis anti-shake system. At present, there is no news about the successor fund.
