The design of Apple developer account page has been updated: use the top navigation bar
CTOnews.com, Oct. 5 (Xinhua)-- Apple today overhauled the developer account website interface, which developers can access when they log on to Apple's website, introducing a more concise appearance to get more information at a glance.
The previous version of the site has a navigation sidebar, while the updated site uses a top navigation bar that provides access to project resources, email preferences, membership details, code-level support, agreements and activities.
CTOnews.com learned that all the same information can be accessed by simply scrolling down, and that most of the required content is in the top project resources, making it faster and easier for developers to find the tools they are looking for.
Program resources include App Store Connect information and one-click access to applications and analytics, in addition to software downloads and certificates, identifiers, and configuration files for testing and distributing applications.
There are also quick access tools for managing Apple developer accounts, receiving emails and notifications, and using technical support events to get code-level support from Apple engineers for Apple frameworks, APIs, and tools. The site is open to developers only and requires an Apple developer account to access it.
