CTOnews.com, Oct. 5, last month, LineageOS 19 support expanded four Xiaomi devices, Motorola Edge 20, Google ADT-3 and Dynalink 4K Box. The LineageOS team has now added five more devices. LineageOS 19 has been adapted to Motorola Edge 30, Edge 20 Pro, Xiaomi 8 Pro (Xiaomi 8 off-screen fingerprint version), Xiaomi 8 transparent Exploration Edition, Xiaomi MIX 2S. These devices can be installed with custom ROM based on Android 12.

The user must unlock the bootloader of the associated device and set up a custom restore to install LineageOS 19. Before upgrading, back up your data in case you lose critical content. CTOnews.com learned that the ROM does not have Google Apps pre-installed, and that after installing LineageOS 19, users can download the appropriate Google app GApps package.

In addition to LineageOS 19 supporting five new devices, the team also removed Poco M2 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max from the unified "miatoll" build. The team also added Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 LTE and Xperia Tablet Z2 Wi-Fi to the LineageOS 18.1 support list.
