CTOnews.com, October 6, local time, Brazil's Economic Protection Management Committee (CADE) announced that it approved Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard without any restrictions.

Brazil's CADE is also the second regulator to confirm approval of the acquisition after the Saudi Arabian Competition Authority.

CTOnews.com learned that in January, Microsoft announced a massive $68.7 billion (438.306 billion yuan) acquisition of game giant Activision Blizzard. However, the acquisition still needs approval from a number of regulators around the world.

In addition, the EU antitrust regulator will decide whether to approve Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard by November 8, according to the latest documents from the EU antitrust regulator.
