CTOnews.com, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) Intel CEO Pat Kissinger posted a photo with Gordon Moore on a social platform, calling it a true legend.

CTOnews.com learned that Gordon Moore, born in 1929, was one of the founders of Intel and the author of Moore's Law.

In 1965, Moore predicted that the number of transistors on integrated circuits would double steadily every 18 months, which was later known as Moore's Law.

At the recent 2022 Intel on Technology Innovation Summit, Intel CEO Pat Kissinger said that "Moore's Law" will remain valid for at least the next decade. Intel will forge ahead, tap the infinite possibilities in the periodic table and continue to unleash the magical power of silicon.
