With the expansion of the push range of the 22H2 version, Microsoft has identified a number of problems, including printers, damaged SSD solid state drives, and .PPKG configuration errors. Microsoft has now identified problems with remote desktops and says it is investigating the content.

According to feedback from users and IT administrators on Microsoft forums and other platforms, it seems difficult for Windows 11 to connect to remote desktops after upgrading to the 22H2 version. Symptoms vary from person to person, including, but not limited to, connection problems, random disconnections, and crashes.

Microsoft employees said the company was aware of the problems and was investigating the report. At the same time, affected customers recommend rolling back to the latest version of Windows 11 or disabling UDP connections to bypass this vulnerability.

For now, you can bypass this vulnerability by creating a new fClientDisableUDP DWORD (value set to 1) in the registry (HKLM\ SOFTWARE\ Policies\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ Terminal Services\ Client).

In addition, you can also enable the "close UDP On Client" policy in the Group Policy Editor. If you encounter a problem that is difficult to solve, you can roll back to the previous version by uninstalling the Windows 11 22H2 update.
