Two PC are "merged into one", and CLX cooperates with Intel to design high-performance "game + live" hosts.
CTOnews.com, October 7, according to WccfTech, Intel demonstrated a high-performance "game + live" host designed in cooperation with CLX at a live event.
CTOnews.com learned that the main body of the host uses a Lian-Li chassis with a built-in ROG Z690 Formula motherboard and i9-12900K and RTX 3090 Ti graphics cards. CLX uses Intel's NUC 12 Extreme computing module (built-in i9-12900 processor) to combine two PC into a custom PC.
According to reports, this CLX and Intel's custom PC are achieved by installing Intel NUC computing modules into the PCIe slot of the chassis, and the two PC are respectively responsible for games and live streaming, thus reducing the burden of game PC. This single-chassis design saves more space than two PC used alone.
The NUC 12 Extreme computing module is currently used in Intel's own Beast Canyon NUC. Intel will provide computing suites for OEM vendors, and computing suites are also available on other second-hand platforms.
