Geely's Polestar Star Q3 delivers 9215 cars, with a total delivery of more than 30,000 this year.

According to foreign media reports, Polestar, a high-end electric car brand owned by Geely Holdings Group, announced that it had delivered 9215 vehicles in the third quarter of 2022, bringing the company's total delivery so far this year to 30400.

By contrast, the company delivered 9410 vehicles in the second quarter of 2022, slightly higher than in the third quarter, and 11790 in the first quarter of 2022, much higher than in the third quarter.

With the relief of production pressure caused by COVID-19 's epidemic, Polestar believes it can significantly increase delivery in the fourth quarter and still meet its delivery target of 50,000 vehicles.

It is reported that Polestar is a high-performance electric vehicle brand jointly owned by Volvo Automobile Group and Zhejiang Geely holding Group, focusing on high-performance electric vehicles. At present, the company has launched only two products, namely, the plug-in hybrid, the limited production Polestar 1 and the all-electric Polestar 2 sedan.

At the end of September, the company announced that it would launch its first all-electric SUV Polestar 3 in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 12. The Polestar 3 will be Polestar's third car, the company's first sports utility vehicle (SUV), and the company's first car built in the United States.

According to foreign media reports, Polestar will release its third-quarter results at 8: 00 a.m. eastern time on November 11.
