CTOnews.com, October 9 (Xinhua)-- Sony has launched a new cross-platform feature in its recent update to Marvel Spider-Man: remake, which allows players to bind their PlayStation Network accounts to their Steam accounts to get rewards in the game.

At present, the binding page has been online on Sony PlayStation's official website (click here to enter). Players can link their Steam account to PlayStation Network to get an unlock reward in the PlayStation Studios game. Players will also receive the latest news, updates and offers from PlayStation Studios games on PC or PlayStation platforms.

CTOnews.com learned that Marvel Spider-Man: remake is available in PC version 1.1006, and the patch was released on October 6. After binding the PlayStation Network account and the Steam account, players will get props and two skill points in the game. Currently, cross-platform archiving is not supported.

In addition, foreign media VGC found a reference to "PlayStation PC launcher" in the "Marvel Spider-Man: remake" file, suggesting that Sony is planning to launch a unified startup portal for its PC game. References to PlayStation Network integration-"PSNAccountLinked" and "PSNLinkingEntitlements"-are also found in the PC code for Marvel Spider-Man: remake.
