Guoxuan Hi-Tech: the second phase of the 20GWh project of Yichun Guoxuan battery has started and is expected to be completed and put into production in October next year.

CTOnews.com October 10 news, learned from the official Guoxuan Hi-Tech, October 8, Yichun Guoxuan battery phase II 20GWh project opening ceremony was held in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. This is another measure of Yichun layout of Guoxuan Hi-Tech after the first phase of 10GWh project was put into production in May this year.

Guoxuan Hi-Tech said that the Yichun Guoxuan battery project is the top priority of the layout of Guoxuan Hi-Tech in Yichun, one of the top ten battery production bases in China.

According to reports, the Yichun Guoxuan battery project is planned to be built in two phases. The first phase of the 10GWh project was officially put into production in May this year, and the second phase of the project, which started on the 8th, is expected to be completed and put into production in October 2023, and lithium battery products will be supplied to domestic and foreign first-class vehicle enterprises and leading enterprises in the field of energy storage in the future.

CTOnews.com learned that Guoxuan Hi-Tech pointed out that Jiangxi Guoxuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which belongs to the Yichun Guoxuan battery project, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, mainly engaged in mine resources development, lithium carbonate extraction, lithium-ion battery manufacturing and PACK, energy storage system development, etc.

In addition, Guoxuan Hi-Tech said that the layout in Jiangxi includes lithium mining, lithium mica extraction, lithium carbonate processing and power battery production, and so far, the project is progressing smoothly.
