CTOnews.com October 10 news, learned from BYD that BYD Mexico recently delivered the first batch of five pure electric semitrailer tractors Q3MA to Marva, a large local transportation company, at the Logistics and Transport Exhibition (Expo Transporte) in the Mexican state of Puebla.

CTOnews.com learned that BYD will deliver a total of 120 pure electric semitrailers to Marva by the end of this year, forming BYD's first fleet of pure electric tractors in Latin America.

According to reports, BYD pure electric semitrailer tractor Q3MA is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery and motor integrated bridge independently developed by BYD, which has the characteristics of "strong power and long range". The vehicle is equipped with a mass of 12 tons, and the maximum allowable total traction mass is 35 tons. It is used in medium and short distance logistics and transportation in ports, industrial parks and inter-cities.

▲ Latin America's first batch of BYD pure electric semitrailers will be delivered on site. According to BYD Mexico, the fleet of BYD pure electric tractors will be operated under the cooperation of Element, a leading fleet management company, and ENEL X, a renewable energy company.
