Microsoft Win11/10 Edge browser is testing the sidebar resizing function
CTOnews.com, October 10, more than a year ago, the sidebar search function was introduced into Edge browsers on Microsoft Windows 11 and 10, and over time, it gradually evolved into a tool to start services such as Office and Outlook. Now Microsoft Edge Canary has added the ability to resize the sidebar to become more perfect.
Reddit user Leopeva64-2 claims that the new resizable sidebar is available in the latest Edge Canary update, but it may not be available to all test users.
First of all, users can resize the sidebar without enabling Flag, which Microsoft will enable by default. Users with this feature need to hover the mouse pointer over the space that separates the content of the page from the sidebar pane. After doing so, you will see double arrows that allow you to resize the pane.
As the user has pointed out, there are some limitations to this feature. For example, you cannot resize favorites, history, downloads and favorites, and Outlook panes, which may change in the future. In addition, all other websites and applications added by users are resizable.
CTOnews.com has learned that Google has recently started developing a sidebar feature similar to Edge for Chrome browsers, but currently only displays search results.
