Car sales in September were about 237000, an increase of 44.32 percent over the same period last year, of which 34000 new energy vehicles were sold, up 123.98 percent over the same period last year. This year's cumulative car sales were 1.825 million, up 22.18 percent over the same period last year.

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. produced 228067 cars in September 2022, an increase of 41.52 percent over the same period last year, and the cumulative output of this year was 1832634, an increase of 26.94 percent over the same period last year. CTOnews.com learned that GAC GROUP produced 219300 cars and sold 217800 cars in August, up 86.8 per cent and 78 per cent respectively from a year earlier. In August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 30575 and 30443 respectively, an increase of 135% and 137.6% respectively over the same period last year. From January to August, a total of 171461 new energy vehicles were produced and 170842 new energy vehicles were sold, up 127.6% and 124% over the same period last year.
