Intel will release its third quarter 2022 results on October 28

CTOnews.com October 11, Intel announced that it will release its results for the third quarter of 2022 after the U.S. stock market closes on October 27 (October 28, Beijing time).

After the announcement, Intel will hold an earnings call at 2: 00 p.m. Pacific time on October 27 (5: 00 a.m. on October 28, Beijing time).

At that time, Intel's website investor relations channel intc.com will broadcast the conference call live and provide audio recordings.

CTOnews.com learned that Intel's second-quarter revenue was $15.321 billion, down 22% from $19.631 billion in the same period last year, and a net loss of $454 million, compared with a net profit of $5.061 billion in the same period last year, down 109% from a year earlier. Gross margin narrowed to 36.5% from 50.4% in the previous quarter. The diluted loss per share was $0.11, compared with diluted earnings of $1.24 per share in the same period last year, equivalent to a 109 per cent decline.

Intel had cut its full-year forecast. The company said it expects full-year adjusted earnings per share of $2.30 on revenue of $65 billion to $68 billion. Three months ago, earnings per share were expected to be adjusted at $3.60 on revenue of $76 billion. Refinitiv analysts had expected Apple to earn $3.42 a share on revenue of $74.34 billion.
