Sony's new ZV camera revealed: 2000 megapixels, 20mm fixed lens

CTOnews.com October 11 news, a few days ago, sonyalpharumors news that Sony will release a new product around October 12, which will be a new ZV series of fixed-lens cameras, cheaper than the ZV-1.

Now, sonyalpharumors has released the latest news that the camera carries a 2000-megapixel CMOS and a 20mm fixed lens.

According to reports, this camera is basically replaced with a ZV-1 with a 20mm fixed lens. It is not clear whether the 20MP sensor is the same as the one on ZV-1.

CTOnews.com reported that in May 2020, Sony released the ZV-1 camera, which uses an one-inch stackable CMOS, has a 20.1 million-pixel lens, uses a fixed lens, and has an equivalent focal length of 24-70mm, capable of shooting 4K video.

The ZV-1 is equipped with Sony's unique Real-Time Eye AF focus system, which can lock the subject and track the human eye to focus in real time during 4K video shooting, and the ZV-1 is equipped with an one-click fast background conversion function, a 3-inch foldable LCD screen, windshield and built-in microphone. The ZV-1 does not have a Type-C interface and uses the same NP-BX1 battery as the RX100. The body weighs about 294g.

ZV-1 went public at the end of May 2020 with an initial price of 5199 yuan.
