The highest auction price of Nikon lens: Nikkor 58mm f / 1. 0 sold for about 1.3 million yuan
CTOnews.com October 11 news, according to foreign media petapixel news, Nikon launched a unique Nikkor 58mm f / 1.0lens in the 1970s set a new record in Nikon lens auction history: 187500 euros (about 1.299 million yuan).
The lens is reported to be the only Nikkor-O Auto 58mm f / 1.0 to date and was sold at a 2022 Wetzlar camera auction in Germany over the weekend.
The auction house said the lens could be a prototype with an original blue back cover (a typical color of Nikon's experimental lens).
CTOnews.com learned that the shot was initially estimated to be worth between 15000 euros (104000 yuan) and 20000 euros (139000 yuan), but two very interested buyers pushed the price up a lot. In the end, the lens was sold at a very high price of 187500 euros (about 1.299 million yuan).
