CTOnews.com, October 11, according to the China Railway Construction News, a few days ago, the Shanghai airport contact line built by the 14th Bureau of China Railway advanced 288 rings in a single month, reaching 576m, with an average daily footage of 19.2m, creating the fastest domestic record for fully prefabricated large-diameter mud-water shield.

The Shanghai Airport Link Line is the first municipal railway in Shanghai, with a total length of 68.6 km, accounting for more than 80% of the underground, with a total of 9 stations. They are Shanghai East Railway Station, Terminal T3, Pudong International Airport, Resort, Zhangjiang, Sanlinnan, Huajing, Qibao and Hongqiao Railway Station.

CTOnews.com learned that the Shanghai Airport Liaison Line will be completed by the end of 2024. At that time, the transit time of Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong airports will be reduced from 90 minutes to less than 40 minutes, and passengers can swipe public transport cards to get in and out of the station.

In addition, the project will also become the first urban railway in China to connect with the national railway network, connecting the Shanghai-Nanjing and Shanghai-Hangzhou railways to the Pudong area of Shanghai.
