According to reports, Kunming national Internet backbone direct connection point, as one of the Internet backbone network interconnection hubs in China, is used to gather and dredge Internet traffic in Yunnan Province and to the whole country.

In addition, after the completion of the national Internet backbone direct connection point in Kunming, Internet traffic in Yunnan Province will no longer be diverted to Chengdu and other places, and the basic network performance and service quality of the province will be significantly improved. the carrying capacity of all kinds of Internet services that require high network quality and transmission rate will be fundamentally enhanced.
