It is reported that the palm brushing device is provided by WeChat Pay, which is equipped with a display screen and a palmprint recognition area. after users activate the Wechat palm brushing payment function, they only need to scan in the palmprint recognition area to complete the payment of goods.

CTOnews.com learned that Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. had previously applied to register a number of "Wechat brush palm", "Wechat brush palm payment", "Wechat brush palm service" and "WePalm" trademarks, with an international classification involving design research, advertising sales, financial property management, and so on. It is reported that Tencent has promoted contactless brushing payment in some areas. in authorization scenarios, payment or identity verification can be completed quickly through palm recognition. Internal testing of the technology began as early as 2021.
