Shanxi: the number of fuel cell vehicles will reach more than 10,000 by 2025, and about 50,000 in the country.
CTOnews.com October 15 news, According to the website of Shanxi Province Development and Reform Commission,"Shanxi Province hydrogen energy industry development medium-and long-term plan (2022-2035)"(Hereinafter referred to as "planning") has been released.
CTOnews.com learned that the Plan proposes that by 2025, a relatively perfect policy environment for the development of hydrogen energy industry will be formed, collaborative innovation capability will enter the forefront of the country, and a relatively complete industrial chain system will be basically constructed. The demonstration application of hydrogen energy has achieved remarkable results. On the premise of no new carbon emission, a hydrogen energy supply system focusing on industrial by-product hydrogen and renewable energy hydrogen production has been initially established. The number of fuel cell vehicles has reached more than 10,000 (about 50,000 nationwide), and a number of hydrogen refueling stations have been deployed and constructed, leading the country in application scale. The hydrogen production capacity of renewable energy has increased significantly, becoming an important part of new hydrogen energy, which strongly promotes carbon dioxide emission reduction.
In addition, by 2030, the number of fuel cell vehicles will reach 50,000, and renewable energy hydrogen production will be applied in transportation, energy storage, industry and other fields in multiple scales, forming a hydrogen energy industry cluster with reasonable layout, complementary industries and coordinated progress, which will strongly support Shanxi Province to realize carbon peak. By 2035, a leading hydrogen energy industry cluster will be formed in China. The proportion of renewable energy hydrogen production in terminal energy consumption has been greatly increased, providing strong support for the green and low-carbon transformation of energy in Shanxi Province.
