CTOnews.com, Oct. 17-Microsoft recently announced a number of new features for Office 365 users, and the company is also focusing on improving an existing feature of Outlook, namely delayed delivery.

According to the Microsoft 365Roadmap page, Microsoft is planning to bring the "schedule and send" feature to Android and iOS users so that they can delay sending emails. CTOnews.com learned that this feature is very similar to the "delayed send" feature in Outlook.com and Outlook desktop applications.

Once the feature is available for everyone on the iOS platform, users can choose the date and time they want to send the email. Microsoft has not yet explained the flow of the Android and iOS user experience, but using it in the macOS version of Outlook is fairly simple: users need to drop down the menu from the "send options" and select "schedule and send" to choose when they want the email to be sent.

It is worth noting that Microsoft will first introduce "schedule and send" in the Outlook iOS client, which will happen this month. Android users will have to wait until December to see this feature work.

Ever since Microsoft added the delayed email option to Outlook Web and desktop applications, users on Microsoft's technology community website have been asking when it will be available for Outlook iOS and Android applications.

In addition, according to the roadmap page, Microsoft will also introduce response functionality into the Outlook Windows client. This feature is already available on Outlook for Mac.
