Thank CTOnews.com netizens for the romantic feng shui teacher's clue delivery! CTOnews.com, Oct. 18, the recent resignation of HMD Global CEO Florian Seiche shook Nokia's mobile world. Florian Seiche is the chief executive of bringing the Nokia brand back to smartphones and tablets, but has also tried to introduce new services, such as HMD Connect global roaming, to make HMD Global more financially stable. This service enables HMD to provide data plans to users, providing carefree connectivity in more than 120 countries and more than 600 networks around the world. The service was announced as early as 2020, however, it was recently announced that it would cease operation.

CTOnews.com learned that HMD said on its official website that new SIM cards would not be issued to new or existing customers after November 15, 2022. The service will be permanently retired after December 15, 2022. All customers who do not fully use the data plan before that date will receive a refund.

With the resignation of HMD's chief executive, management may begin to clean up HMD's current business model and shut down some potentially distracting products. This is not expected to affect the part of the company's cooperation with Nokia phones, but some people may be fired or transferred to other parts of the startup.
