CTOnews.com learned that the Pillar of creation, located in the Eagle Nebula about 6500 light-years from Earth, was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995, and the new images reveal new details of the celestial landscape, which astrobiologists call "spectacular beyond description."

On the left is the pillar of creation photographed by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope in 2014, and on the right is the column of creation photographed by NASA's James Webber Telescope. According to the Science and Technology Daily, the Pillar of creation is part of the Eagle Nebula, also known as the M16 Nebula, which contains thousands of stars and the dust and cold, dense interstellar gas that nurtures them.
