CTOnews.com, October 21 (Xinhua)-- A Xiaomi phone with the model 2210129SG received FCC certification in September. Later, it also appeared on Singapore IMDA and European EEC certification platforms. Now, the same device appears in the IMEI database with the name of Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE.

Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE is expected to be a revision or adjustment of Xiaomi Civi 2 (model 2209129SC), which is exclusive to the Chinese market. As Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE has received some important certifications, the device is expected to go on sale at the end of this month.

The FCC certification of Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE shows that it has three configurations. 6GB memory + 128GB storage, 8GB memory + 128GB storage, and 8GB memory + 256GB storage. It provides 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS and NFC connection functions. The device is likely to be pre-installed with the Android 13-based MIUI 13 operating system. The IMDA and EEC lists do not reveal any major information about the device specifications.

CTOnews.com learned that Xiaomi Civi 2 has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. Provides FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Dual selfie camera with 3200 megapixels + 3200 megapixels in front. The main camera with 5000 megapixels behind, the ultra wide-angle camera with 2000 megapixels, and the macro camera with 2 megapixels.

Xiaomi Civi 2 uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, equipped with up to 12GB memory and up to 256GB storage. Built-in 4500mAh battery, supporting 67W fast charging.

It should be noted that in July this year, Xiaomi 12 Lite International Edition was released, equipped with Snapdragon 778G chip, based on 6nm architecture, equipped with 6GB or 8GB memory and up to 256GB storage. The phone features a 6.55inch AMOLED screen and supports 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and Dolby horizon.
