Russia launches its first "sphere" project satellite

CTOnews.com learned that the Russian National Space Group said that the first satellite of the "sphere" group, "Scylla-D" (Skif-D) and three "Messenger-M" communications satellites, had been put into orbit.

According to reports, "Skitai-D" will become the demonstration satellite of the future broadband Internet access "Skitai" system technology, and will be part of the "sphere" satellite group.

Russian satellite news agency pointed out that the future plans to launch the "marathon" demonstration satellite, the end of 2025 will launch the first high elliptical orbit satellite "RV" (Express-RV).
