Stellantis, the world's fourth largest automaker, partnered with startup Casi to provide car ordering services in the Netherlands.
According to foreign media reports, Stellantis has launched a car subscription service called Drivenjoy in cooperation with Norwegian start-up Casi, which will initially be launched in the Netherlands.
It is understood that Drivenjoy will offer about 200 vehicles in the coming months, but not all electric vehicles, followed by the addition of more hybrid and all-electric vehicles, including Peugeot, Citroen and DS. Casi said it plans to add cars from other Stellantis brands to the fleet starting in January.
Sophieke Verhoeven, head of finance at PSA, a unit of Stellantis, said: "We have observed that car subscriptions will be an important part of the auto industry in the future and now is the right time for us to get involved in this area." Verhoveven says Stellantis sees car ordering as a complement to its traditional business.
It is reported that the startup Casi aims to help automakers, dealers, fleet operators and other companies launch and expand car subscription services. The company has designed an all-in-one car subscription platform that provides multi-channel distribution, subscription management, and carefully selected operational services and ecosystem partners.
