CTOnews.com October 24 news, recently, Google released some new Pixel products, but also exposed some problems. Some Pixel Buds Pro wireless headset users find that the "Hey Google" function is disabled due to the assistant language error Bug.

Some users are prompted that "Hey Google" is disabled after connecting Pixel Buds Pro headphones. "Voice matching is disabled because the device currently does not support the selected assistant language," Google said. The recommended solution is to select the supported language in the assistant language settings and provides links to these preferences.

But these users did not change their language (there are individual reports that they have been set to US, UK and Australian English) to trigger this error Bug. Hot word detection continues to work on their other Pixel (mobile phones and watches) devices.

CTOnews.com learned that Google Assistant on Pixel Buds Pro can still use the "touch and press" gesture, but this may cause at least one headset to fail to use active noise control. Navigate to Pixel Buds Application > Touch Control > Custom Touch and hold to set up.

Many Pixel Buds Pro users are affected. Some users have pointed out that recent Google app updates are the cause of Bug and hope that they can be resolved through server-side updates.
