CTOnews.com, October 24 (Xinhua)-- sources have confirmed that testing of the Sims 5 game will begin on October 25, according to Insider Gaming. Some people have already got emails and pictures of the tests, and the Sims 5 (currently known as the Rene project) will be on trial this week.

According to the email, this trial will focus on the new object customization tool currently known as "Workshop". This tool is designed to help players customize the content of decorating the apartment, players can share their own works and download the works of others.

CTOnews.com learned that on the live broadcast of "Behind The Sims" on October 19, EA and Maxis announced the next generation of the Sims game, codenamed "Project Rene".

At present, this work is in the early stage of development, with multi-player mode and support for mobile phones and PC / host cross-platform games, providing the same gaming experience on different devices. It is officially described as "next-generation simulation games and creative platforms that will reimagine the Sims that players are familiar with and love in a new way."
