CTOnews.com, Oct. 25-Apple has postponed a new feature that will give Apple Card users the option to deposit their daily cash income into a high-yield savings account.

During iOS 16.1 Beta testing, this feature was mentioned in the release notes for candidate release updates to support the addition of new wallet applications, but not in the notes for the final version of iOS 16.1.

According to the iOS 16.1 RC preview, savings accounts enable Apple Card customers in the United States to increase their daily cash by depositing them in high-yield savings accounts.

Apple announced plans for its Apple Card savings account in mid-October, although the company did not provide specific information on the launch date in the announcement, but hinted that it would be available "in the coming months".

This feature has been removed in the official version of iOS 16.1 and is expected to be launched in the future. When Apple launches its Apple Card savings account, there will be no minimum fee, minimum deposit and minimum balance requirements. Apple will provide the account through Apple Card partner Goldman Sachs, but Apple has yet to say what the interest rate is.

Apple Card users will be able to manage their savings accounts through the wallet app, and once set up, all daily cash will be automatically deposited. Apple Card is currently only available to users in the United States.
