Google has set up a high-tech college at Leishman University in Israel to offer courses in computer programming, sales and data analysis

October 25, according to foreign media reports, Israel's Leishman University (Reichman University) said on Monday that the school has set up a school with Google to train high-tech talents.

It is reported that the high-tech college will offer a series of courses such as computer programming, sales and data analysis. The university said the high-tech institute would support students from underdeveloped communities, "including women, Arabs, Ethiopian community members, as well as geo-socially marginalized and vulnerable socio-economic groups."

Google Israel CEO Barak Regev said: "We believe that all kinds of voices and opinions will enrich Israel's high-tech industry and its development." In addition, Google will also provide scholarships for students.

It is reported that Israel's high-tech industry is booming, but there is a serious shortage of skilled workers.
