Beijing, October 27 (Xinhua) on the 26th local time, India's antitrust regulator decided to speed up its investigation into Apple's anti-competitive behavior and will complete its investigation into Apple by the end of January 2023.

Apple follows fines of 13.38 billion rupees (13.38 billion rupees) and 9.36 billion rupees (1.99 billion yuan) imposed by the Indian Competition Commission (CCI) on Google, accusing it of being dominant in several markets related to Android devices and forcing app developers to use Google's billing system in paid app purchases, similar to antitrust charges against Apple in India.

In fact, Apple faces a similar situation in the European Union. EU regulators have launched an investigation into Apple's 30 per cent intra-app fee and other restrictions on paid digital content distribution.
