TikTok wants to open a new office in London and discuss the lease of more than 10,000 square meters of property.

TikTok, a popular short video platform, plans to open a new office space in London, UK, and is in talks to rent 134000 square feet of office space, according to news on October 27.

The office space TikTok wants to rent is the Verdant development at 150 Oldsmen Street, near Farrington, just a block from the company's current UK headquarters, according to people familiar with the matter. TikTok wants to rent the entire 11 floors of the building.

TikTok had suspended negotiations to establish a global headquarters in the UK and chose to rent some space in the Kaleidoscope building in Farrington, London, to set up a more austere UK headquarters. At the same time, the company has opted for rapid expansion in Dublin, Ireland. It is reported that Mapletree Group, the Singaporean owner of a building in Dublin, is considering selling office space to TikTok.
