CTOnews.com, October 27 (Xinhua)-- Apple has released an update to Swift Playgrounds 4.2, providing an updated iPad interface and new courses focused on machine learning.

Apple Swift Playgrounds is a free programming learning app that can be used on iPad and macOS.

CTOnews.com learned that the iPad version of Swift Playgrounds has an improved interface and supports customizable toolbars. Users can add items they like, and the new application preview tab allows users to quickly switch between multiple previews.

A new set of machine learning courses teaches users to train applications to recognize images. Users can train the model through games of stone, paper and scissors.

Another course is layout View, which challenges users to match UI models in code.

In May, Apple updated Swift Playgrounds to version 4.1, allowing users to build Mac applications using SwiftUI.
