CTOnews.com, October 27, we know that there is a competitive relationship between Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S. it is now reported that Porsche plans to raise this competitive relationship to a new level. The automaker plans to launch a three-motor version of Taycan to compete head-on with Tesla Model S Plaid.

Porsche's Taycan electric car set a new record at the Nurburgring in 2019, and last year Tesla brought his brand new Model S Plaid to the track and beat Porsche's record with an impressive lap score of 35.579.

Earlier this year, Porsche brought another Taycan back to the Newborough Green track and beat Tesla by two seconds to win the fastest lap time record for mass-produced electric cars, but the record is controversial because the Porsche Taycan is equipped with a new "performance suite" that is available only in Germany and only for the 2023 Taycan Turbo S sports sedan.

Now, according to the latest report from Auto Express, Porsche is testing a new Taycan, just like Tesla Model S Plaid, which is equipped with three motors. The new three-motor version should replace the Taycan Turbo S as the fastest car in the series.

It is not clear when the three-motor version of Taycan will be available, and CTOnews.com will keep an eye on it.
