Suspected Nvidia RTX 4080 12GB run exposure, RTX 3090 Ti level
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens OC_Formula and Wu Yanzu in South China for their clue delivery! CTOnews.com, October 28, Nvidia RTX 4080 12GB has been cut, to be exact, this graphics card will no longer be available under the name "RTX 4080 12GB". Now, a ChipHell user seems to have got the product and posted a 3DMark score.
According to reports, this graphics card has 60 computing units and a GPU frequency of 2610 MHz, achieving a single-precision computing performance of 42 TFLOPs. In the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme test, the graphics card scored 10794 points and 13472 points in Fire Strike Ultra, basically the same level as the RTX 3090 Ti.
CTOnews.com learned that in September this year, Nvidia released RTX 4080 12G, which was originally scheduled to go public in November, starting with 7199 yuan. After that, Nvidia decided it was inappropriate for the video card to be listed under the name RTX 4080 12G, so it cancelled the card. Nvidia has not yet announced which model of the graphics card will be available.
According to the news previously released by Nvidia, the RTX 4080 12GB has 7680 CUDA cores and 12GB Meguiar GDDR6X memory, which is more powerful than the previous generation flagship GPU RTX 3090 Ti.
